Hans Severin Jacobsen is a Danish artist and designer working between art, design, and craftsmanship. With a background in architecture and cabinetmaking, his practice is grounded in material understanding and structural clarity. He works primarily with found natural stone, combined with crafted wooden and industrial elements.

The work is driven by an artistic investigation of material relationships, balance, and weight. By placing natural stone in constructed contexts, Jacobsen explores how materials carry history, resistance, and presence, and how subtle shifts in scale and composition can alter their perception.

His work has been on display in Sydney (Studio Gardner), Menorca (Tabouret), Collectible Brussels and throughout Denmark including Ark Kollekt (Copenhagen), Ruby Atelier (Copenhagen) and VÆG Gallery (Aalborg). At SOLIDIFIED there will be new stone furniture objects on display.
