STUDIO BEEKS was founded by designer / furniture maker Coen Boeksma who combines traditional woodworking with engineering precision. He bridges centuries of traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design sensibilities. Working with long-seasoned oak, historic materials and applying time-honoured craftmanship to create expressive pieces that balance material honesty with structural clarity. Each piece is carefully constructed to highlight the natural qualities of the wood and ensure longevity. Uncompromising craftsmanship and rugged elegance converge into architectural design.
The Techno Collection features exposed joints. So far this series consists out of a dining table, a coffee table, a lounge chair and a side table of which the latter two will be at SOLIDIFIED. Studio Beeks has presented at Dutch Design Week and GLUE Amsterdam but this Milan Design Week will be his international debut !
