At SOLIDIFIED, Umut Yamac will be presenting an immersive collection united by the theme of movement, each piece is an exploration of a contrasting material; paper, thread and stone, and its potential transformation into a lightweight fluid volume.

Studio Umut Yamac is characterised by a multidisciplinary approach. Hailing from an architectural background, Umut founded the studio to explore design that is spatial yet human in scale. The studio develops projects and installations that are responsive to the user and the space through playful interaction and movement. Recent projects have ranged from brand collaborations with the likes of Vibia, Moooi and Welteveree to award winning bespoke commissions such as Woven at the Dorchester Coworth. The studio also produces its own material driven pieces which have been exhibited internationally at Mint, MOS, Galerie Philia & MIART.
