“The Land of NOMO” A mysterious land that mirrors the way you think and feel.
SEKISAI contributed to the Panasonic Group Pavilion “The Land of NOMO” at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, creating a spatial experience through 3D printing. SEKISAI crafted essential sculptural elements – like rocks and trees – that played a vital role in shaping the world of “a beautiful forest where life and energy circulate,” the theme of a key area within the pavilion. As visitors explore this mysterious world with a crystal in hand, the forest responds with light and sound – an interactive experience supported by SEKISAI’s 3D printing technology.
In addition, leaf-shaped objects made from kinari, a plant-derived material developed by Panasonic Holdings Corporation, were created as part of a circular design concept that allows for material reuse. Expo 2025 Osaka is open until October 13, 2025.
