DARK MATTER expands on 28 March 2025 with the new TRANSFORMATOR hall, launching with SKALAR by Christopher Bauder & Kangding Ray. This marks a new era for the Berlin art scene. The site now consists of KOLLEKTION (permanent exhibition), FREIRAUM (outdoor space), and TRANSFORMATOR (new exhibition hall). Tickets are available online at www.darkmatter.berlin.

SKALAR, returning after a seven-year global tour, is an immersive light and sound installation exploring human emotions. Its moving mirrors, beams of light, and powerful soundscapes create a deeply sensory experience.

DARK MATTER, founded by Christopher Bauder, is home to over 20 years of his light art. With its evolving exhibition concept—including seasonal series like WINTERLIGHTS—DARK MATTER remains a dynamic hub for media art. TRANSFORMATOR expands this vision, offering a large-scale space for groundbreaking installations and events.
