Corine van Voorbergen (Netherlands, 1989) is a contemporary intuitive artist, living and working in Amsterdam.
Through her minimalistic round art forms she focusses on the idea of eternal movement. In her series ‘Through the Brass Eye of the Beholder’ she evokes a certain feeling in the viewer through her use of colour, visual depth, texture and natural flow.
For the first time in her career, Corine van Voorbergen presents a solo exhibition: ‘Through the Brass Eye’. This show at Forwart Gallery brings together a curated selection of her most iconic works, installations, and unseen work. A journey through past, present, and future.
As a special highlight, Corine van Voorbergen presents the Signature Series: five works with an impressive diameter of 128 cm. A reissue of her most iconic and beloved concepts, subtly interwoven with the number 28 – her personal lucky number.
