Forced is a study of the disformation of the human body to adhere to the ideal imposed by the fashion industrie and media. Forced shows the extreme forms of how we force ourselves into the ideal imposed on us regardless the negative consequences for our bodies. Forced holds up a mirror to society to reflect on what they are willing to do to answer to (fashion) expectations.

There are many products who supposed to make us beautiful like corsets or high heels. But are they really making us beautiful? These products all have a dark side like deforming our body. Why are we wearing these products? Most of these products making us more self-confident, more powerful. What is going to happen when we are manipulating this emotions by forcing them in a negative way with fashion accessory?
