fish bowl

Where to leave the food for the Fish was the question Bas asked himself when he got one as gift. It was always standing next to the bowl, so he designed a fishbowl with an integrated container for the food. Place the bowl from to column and you can access the food.

Humane fruit fly trap

Fruit flies are lured with the fermenting smell of fruit, which is placed in a closed cartridge with ventilation in the bottom of the product. The frosted property of the body gives you a notice of something had been caught. The transparent funnel on the top makes sure that the flies can’t find the way out after being caught.

Mouse trap

Mouse are lured with peanut butter or cheese, which you place at the back of the hinging part integrated in the bucket. Mouse will climb on the small stair towards to bite, when crossing the balance point they will fall into the bucket. You should check the trap regular, if they get trapped to long the can die by stress.

Fluido

When Bas attended a lecture about industrial design at the age of 17, he came in contact with the work of Raymond Loewy and his streamline style. He founded his vocation at this lecture, and saw the influence design can bring in this world. Those glasses have an organic controlled silhouette designed to honor the man who give me a goal in life.

Humane Wasp Trap

Wasps are lured by the sweet smell of syrup placed in a cartridge, which hangs freely in the opening of the glass top part. By separating the liquid from the caught wasps they will not drown compared with the traps you find on the market today. Wasps will always try to find the highest point to fly away, so if you take out the cartridge there is a big chance all wasps are able to fly out again.

A standing promotion pen which promotos your company as a true eye-catcher.
This pen becomes more an object standing on your desk then a ordinary pen which is lost among all the others.

COMMUNICATION POT

THIS POT SHOWS THROUGH THE LAW OF COMMUNICATING VESSELS HOW MUCH WATER THE PLANT CONSUMES. THROUGH A COTTON WICK IN THE BOTTOM THE WATER IS SLOWLY SUCKED INTO THE POT.

Pole Hanger bathroom

Where to put you’re laundry, clothes, towel and accessories when you take a shower or a bad? Therefore I came up with a pole hanger that might me a simple solution that allows you to put all you’re stuff together right where you want them. No laundry on the floor you’re towel in reach and even a bowl for you’re mobile or jewelry.

Toothbrush cup

A toothbrush cup often becomes dirty and several people using just one cup. I had the idea that each person has its own little cup with his own toothbrush placed in the handle. This could increase the hygienic a lot more. The cup is stackable if you don’t have enough space in the bathroom.

Color cupboard

Some people are ordering their books at height, some on alphabetically but i wanted to do this by color..! A lot of people still know the color of a book they have read. So order you're books on color at a ethical way.. I had a idea of ordering it like a color circle, a circle where you can quietly read a book.

Work hard & keep dreaming

Born in the Netherlands 1989, Bas kamp studied at the Design academy Eindhoven where he graduated in 2013. Before that he studied at Sint Lucas Boxtel where he graduated in 2009.In the period of Sint Lucas he did an internship at Piet Hein Eek 2007, where he learned some craftsman skills. During his time at the DAE he did an internship at Philips Lighting design 2012, where he was introduced into the world of industrial product design.

Currently he is working at GRO design in Eindhoven where he develops his skills and knowledge to become an allround industrial designer.

His goal is to start his own industrial product design studio someday in the future to created products for labels all around the world. Design is a passion, it is the aim to created products which make a small difference in the world.
