BLICKFANG Tokyo

BLICKFANG is a platform, design store and trade event all in one. In addition to the design fair activities and a wide-ranging supporting programme including special shows, lectures, fashion shows and design prize awards, at all four venues BLICKFANG has evolved as a meeting place for the design scene. BLICKFANG is aimed at end consumers as well as trade visitors. Designers test the popularity of their products on the end consumer direct and also establish business contacts with interested trade visitors. Up to 200 designers showcase and sell their latest collections in the disciplines of furniture, lighting, fashion and jewellery design to 12,000 – 18,000 visitors. Visitors meet the designers, are given expert advice and can purchase a favourite item at the fair direct. With extensive advertising measures, BLICKFANG has reached a total sum of copies in journals and magazines of over 35 million in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Japan. BLICKFANG has become a firm fixture on the design events calendar: 17 years of BLICKFANG Stuttgart, 12 years of BLICKFANG Zurich, 5 years of BLICKFANG Vienna, 3 years of BLICKFANG Tokyo. BLICKFANG is the largest design event of its kind and in Zurich and Vienna also holds fashion shows presenting collections by exhibiting designers. BLICKFANG is distinctive due to its special atmosphere. This is where new impulses are born every year, trends are set and creative potential receives support.
