Emilie Cazin created this Birdhouse in order to attract birds to her balcony and thus stand out from all the piled up apartments with the same windows, same walls, same balconies. The uniform balcony is transformed into a lookout for bird watchers. Birdhouse is an invitation to the city's birds to nest close to one's window.

Inspired by the traditional stone bottles and birds Margriet Foolen designed these Oil & Vinegar Birds. The bottles have a special form. They look like cuddling birds when they stand close to each other. The bottles are made from stoneware and finished with a white glaze.

It is a waste bin that offers people different view on thier waste. It challenges to ask people whether the rubbish they throw away is really valueless. Moreover, the context communicates with user's perception as reframing the meaning of waste that people may rethink of it with responsibility and unveil the value behind superficial meaning.
