After selecting a portrait, colour and style from the website, participants receive a customized t-shirt with a card detailing their selected individual’s name, location and passion in life. After receiving a t-shirt, each participant is then encouraged to submit their own photograph to the Joy website. Submitted photographs are illustrated by hand and made available to future participants of the project. It is about loving your neighbour, because someway or another we are all connected.
