Bean Rockers

The Bean Rocker series is an exploration in dynamic and flexible ways of inhabiting our spaces. The rocking seats are ergonomically designed and come in four models. Knoend worked with designer Ahmed Khouja to produce the Bean Rockers using sustainable materials. The bean rockers come flat-packed or assembled (for a fee), are made with FSC certified maple plywood finished with natural linseed oil, standard steel hardware, and each comes with a padded cushion.

scented time

Each scented candle lasts twenty minutes and has a different scent, and before dying it gives its flame to the one that follows. Arranging the candles according to their scent and lighting the first one, it's possible to know how much time has passed through the scents that mark the stages in the room.
It's one of five project for blind people showcased at Salone del Mobile in milano by Studio Sovrappensiero.

Lamppot

Lamppot is a prototype which explores environmentally friendly lighting - with a twist.
A literal visual twist, relating to the form of the energy efficient spiral bulb - giving the object a high level of customization and aiding it's integration into a variety of environments. The second twist is a conceptual one, challenging which "environment" the light is supposed to be friendly towards - our personal domestic environments and/or our shared ecological environment.
